Fellowship Coach
Tara Bahrampour, a Fellowship Coach with the OpEd Project, is a journalist and writer who spent two decades at The Washington Post covering topics such as aging, demography, immigration, education, and war. She has also written for publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Travel + Leisure, and O, and is the author of the memoir To See and See Again: A Life in Iran and America (FSG, 1999). She has taught journalism at New York University and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs in Tbilisi, Georgia. Tara joined the OpEd Project team because she is inspired by its mission to expand the range of voices shaping public discourse. In her spare time, she is learning to play the cello.
