​​Luis Carrasco is the deputy opinion editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer and won a Pulitzer Prize in 2022 for editorial writing at the Houston Chronicle. In his 20+ years in journalism, he has been a reporter and editor for English and Spanish-language publications in Texas, Arizona, Tennessee, and Washington State. Luis has been a Fellowship coach with the OpEd Project since 2021.
