Helen Zelon is a prize-winning journalist and nonprofit communications leader. Her work has appeared in dozens of national and regional publications, anthologies, and books for young readers. Helen’s article about an all-male Shakespeare troupe in a medium-security Kentucky prison was the foundation for the feature documentary "Shakespeare Behind Bars." Helen joined The OpEd Project in 2022 as a Fellowship Coach.
