Martha Southgate is the award-winning author of four novels: Another Way to Dance, The Fall of Rome, Third Girl From The Left and The Taste of Salt. Her nonfiction writing has appeared in dozens of national publications over the last 35 years, most recently in The American Scholar, Los Angeles Review of Books and The New York Times Book Review. She has been a Fellowship Coach with The OpEd Project since 2012.
