Kelly J. Kelly is a journalist, editor, and teacher. She's currently a founder and executive editor of a new publication out of Georgetown called Science Politics and an adjunct professor at American University in Washington DC. As a reporter, Kelly won a South Carolina Press Award for News Feature Writing and co-authored Work on Purpose, a nonfiction book about social entrepreneurs. She has written for The Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, and others. Kelly joined The OpEd Project in 2008, the year of our founding, and is a Senior Facilitator and Fellowship Coach.
